Did you know that the quality of human connections is the single biggest determinant of wellness and longevity? These connections--our relationships--are grounded in conversation. How we talk to each other matters, but we were never taught how to talk to each other.

As kids we remember being nagged by grownups to say "please" and "thank you." We recall being forced to apologize for being disrespectful or hurting someone's feelings. Beyond that were left to flounder on our own through adolescence and adulthood, until perhaps we found ourselves going through professional development workshops to learn how to manage, motivate, give feedback, or even fire people. These trainings may have offered sound advice and perhaps a little practice, but after decades forming bad habits, change is hard.

Good Talk! takes habit change seriously with the goal of building a healthy conversation practice.  Students will be part of a supportive group working and playing together. The eight-week course integrates modern psychology with improv skills to make you a more effective, authentic, and creative conversation partner.

"Thank you for coaching me through improvisation and how to guide my own students. And thank you for the days you joined us and guided my students and me. These were incredibly rewarding experiences with what I would argue are lasting positive effects on how we move around in the world and communicate with others."
